Strengthening Our Fleet with a Volvo FH460 and Palfinger Crane
At Johnston Rigging (Fife) Ltd, we are committed to investing in modern, high-quality equipment that enhances the service we provide to our customers throughout Scotland. We’re delighted to welcome the latest addition to our fleet, a Volvo FH460 equipped with a Palfinger PK53002-SH loader crane.
This significant investment reinforces our commitment to providing safe, efficient and dependable lifting and transport solutions, supporting construction, infrastructure and industrial projects throughout Fife and across Scotland.
Versatility That Delivers
The combination of the Volvo FH460 and Palfinger PK53002-SH creates a powerful and versatile vehicle capable of both transporting and lifting equipment, materials and machinery. With a max lifting capacity of up to 16.3 tonnes and an impressive operating reach, the crane is ideally suited to a wide range of applications.
The vehicle can be utilised across:
- Structural steel erection projects
- Machinery movement and installation
- Construction material deliveries
- Specialist lift and shift operations
- Transport of lifting equipment and accessories
- Infrastructure and maintenance projects
The Volvo is also fitted with an 8.5 metre cheese wedge body with a 10.5 tonne carrying capacity, making it ideal for transporting a wide range of machinery and equipment. This combination allows for safe and efficient loading of both wheeled and tracked plant.
Showcased at Truckfest
The lorry recently attended Truckfest alongside our 40-tonne and 50-tonne mobile cranes, giving us the opportunity to showcase one of the latest additions to our fleet. Sporting its new blacked-out livery by Cube Wraps, the Volvo highlighted our ongoing investment in modern, professional equipment.
