National Museum of Edinburgh

We recently carried out a contract lift at the National Museum of Edinburgh, supporting roofing works at this prominent and historic building.

The lift was completed using our 90Te mobile crane (view specification) which was selected for its versatility and suitability for the site conditions. The crane was used to safely lift and position a range of roofing materials, ensuring precise placement within a sensitive and busy city‑centre location.

As this was a contract lift, our team managed all aspects of the operation, including lift planning and on‑site supervision. We also arranged the required permits, ensuring all works were carried out in full compliance with local authority and site requirements.

The operation was completed safely and efficiently, demonstrating our experience in delivering well‑planned lifting solutions on high‑profile and technically demanding projects.
