Diageo Safety Award Recognition for Crane Hire and Steel Erection Works

Back in January, several members of our team were proud to be recognised with a Diageo Safety Award following works carried out at the Cameronbridge Bio Energy Plant and the Leven Bottling Plant.

The works were delivered both directly for Diageo and in support of contractors operating on their sites. The scope included specialist crane hire, lift and shift operations, complex lifting activities and structural steel erection. This project was a strong example of our multi‑discipline capability, combining safe crane operations with experienced steel erecting teams. It demonstrates that we are far more than just a crane hire company.

We are always honoured to be invited to work on Diageo sites, whether engaged directly or alongside their appointed subcontractors. Diageo operate to exceptionally high safety standards, so recognition from their safety team for how these crane hire and steel erection works were planned and delivered is particularly meaningful to us.

While modern cranes, lifting equipment and specialist plant play an important role, safe and successful job execution ultimately comes down to thorough planning, effective coordination and the people involved. This award reflects the effort our teams put into lift planning, risk assessment, communication and teamwork across multiple disciplines to deliver lifting and steel erection works safely.

Thank you to everyone involved, both on site and behind the scenes, for their efforts. A sincere thank you also to Ian Brown and the wider Diageo safety team for the recognition. Moments like this reinforce why we place such a strong focus on safety, professionalism and high standards across all our crane hire and steel erection projects.
